Working with a UK NHS Consultant we built a mobile phone app that allowed NHS patients to book hospital appointments and order repeat prescription drugs using their fingerprint for authentication instead of usernames and passwords. Verifiable Credentials proved the user was a NHS patient and a patient of the consultant.
We succesfully piloted the use of COVID-19 certificates, built from Verifiable Credentials, with East Kent NHS Trust. Ours is the only system not to require a backend blockchain, and instead uses existing PKI infrastructures.
We built a proof of concept banking app for a French bank that allowed a new customer to open a new bank account in minutes rather than the days it takes with paper documents. By using Verifiable Credentials to prove their details such as: name and address, salary, and the IBAN of an existing bank account, verification is instantaneous.
One UK university spends £20,000 per annum issuing new plastic photo ID cards to its staff, students and visitors. Replacing these with Verifiable Credentials on smart phones will not only save money but also be more convenient for the holders. We are currently piloting University ID cards with one international university.

so that companies can trust their supply chains, customers can trust their suppliers and it will be easier to orchestrate larger IoT infrastructures
Users may soon have to prove their age to access a number of social media and web sites, but they may not need to reveal their name, address or other personal details to the site e.g. when buying age-related products. Our Verifiable Credentials allow users to selective disclose their personal details, revealing only their age if this is all that the site requires.
Cashless payments are currently based on number plate recognition, but these systems cost over £500 per intallation and can easily be duped by switching number plates. Providing lorries with their own Verifiable Credentials makes the system cheaper to install and more secure.
